Chinese Tourists To USA


In summer of 2004, an official US tourism office was established in China. During its opening news conference attended by the US Embassy's visa consuls and the US government officials, a clear welcome message was sent to the ordinary Chinese citizens who intend to visit the USA as a tourist. On December 6th, 2004, a Sino-US Tourism Memo was signed in order to promote tourism into both countries. As of January 15th, 2005, Chinese citizens for the first time started to obtain multiple entry visas into the USA. Today, Chinese tourists are considered VIPs in western countries, and ordinary Chinese citizens vacationing in the USA is no longer a dream.

2. Beijing(D)
Arrive in Beijing in late afternoon and warmly welcomed by your English-speaking local guide. Transfer to the hotel.


3. Beijing (B,L,D)

Beijing is the Capital of China, once served as the Capital City for 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years. We start today's tour from the Tiananmen Square – the largest square in the world. The present Tiananmen Square has an area of 440,000 square meters and has become a relaxing place for the common people to fly kites and walk. Behind the Tiananmen Gate Tower is the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City. The City was built between 1406 and 1420 and served as the Imperial Palace for 24 Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. This complex, being the world largest Imperial Palace, features more than 800 buildings with resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. In the afternoon we will tour the Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing Emperors worshipped the God of Heaven and preyed for a good harvest. You can visit the most brilliant buildings there, the Circular Mound Altar (Yuanqiutan), Imperial Vault of Heaven (Huangqiongyu) and Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest (Qiniandian) from south to north. What's more, you can have a chance to experience the magnificent atmosphere of the Echo Wall around the Imperial Vault of Heaven.

4. Beijing (B,L,D)
After breakfast in the hotel, we will take our coach to the Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Wall is about six thousand kilometers in length from east to west across the country, and the only manmade structure visible from the Moon.
In the afternoon we will marvel at the incredible Ming Tombs, where 13 of the 16 Emperors of the Ming Dynasty were buried. What's more, a stroll along the Sacred Road with its stone statues is especially interesting.
We will enjoy the famous Beijing Duck banquet for dinner, with Chinese traditional folk dancing entertainment.

5. Beijing – Mt. Wuyi (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will be transferred to Capital International Airoport. There we will take the flight to Mt. Wuyi and begin our amazing tour. Upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel to have a good rest. Then we will take a walk around the city counter. You can experience the peaceful life of the people there.

6. Mt. Wuyi (B,L,D)
Today we will start our fascinating tour to Mt. Wuyi. We will first visit the Tian You Peak, which is said to be the prettiest as well as fanciest mountain in the Southeast Area. Then we will go to have a look at the Yunwo, Chadong and the Yin Ping Peak.
In the afternoon we will visit the two huge rocks – Rock Sha Bu and Xian Yu Tan.

7. Mt. Wuyi (B,L,D)
Early in the morning we will take on the little bamboo boat, which is the usual transportation for the local people, and drift down the winding Jiu Qu Brook. We will also visit the Thirty – Six Peaks, including Tian Zhu Peak and Yu Nu Peak, the Wu Yi Temple, the Temple of the Three Saints of Taoism. And a tour to the Old Street will take you back to the ancient Song dynasty. After lunch we will visit the Rock Hu Xiao, Tian Cheng Temple, and Ding Ming Bridge. Over night at the Hotel.

8. Mt Wuyi – Xiamen (B,L,D)
This day we continue our marvelous tour of the Mt. Wuyi. We will visit the Tian Che Jia, Sui Lian Cave, Eagle Peak Rock and the Da Hong Pao Scenic Area. Take the evening train to Xiamen, overnight on the Train.

9. Xiamen (B,L,D)
Arrive in Xiamen early in the morning. After some rest we will first visit “Garden Of the Sea”: Gu Lang Yu as well as the Sunshine Rock. Enjoy the wonderful show given by birds in the Bird's World. Visit the Memorial Hall of Zheng Cheng Gong, an ancient Hero who had defended the country from the outside intruders. The Temple of Pu Tuo, which was built in Tang Dynasty. Overnight at the Hotel.

10. Xiamen (B,L,D)
After breakfast we will go to the Village of Ji Mei Xue, Ao Garden, the Memorial Hall of Chen Jia Geng. Enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. The rest of the day is free at your hands.

11. Xiamen – Shanghai (B,L,D)
Take the morning flight to Shanghai. Shanghai, the largest commercial and financial center of China, and also the biggest city in Asia.We will go to visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which is famous for its two big Jade Buddha, each of them was carved out from a single piece of Jade.

12. Shanghai (B, L,D)
Our tour today starts from Yuyuan Garden, a finely designed maze of elegant pavilions and ponds in the old part of this city. Then we will stroll along the Bund, the most famous waterfront stretching in China, which is about one mile along the Huangpu River. Afterwards, ascend the Tower of the East Pearl. The tower, which located in the newly developed Pudong District, is the tallest TV tower in the whole Asia.

13. Shanghai – USA (B,L)
We will walk along the famous commercial street, the Nanjing Road. Then you will be transfer to the airport and take your flight back home.
