3. Shanghai – Suzhou (B,L,D)
Shanghai, the largest commercial center in China,
and the largest city in Asia. It is nestled in the
fertile Yangtze River Valley, a home to 14 million
people. We will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which
is famous for its huge Jade Buddha, each of them was
carved out of a single piece of Jade. After lunch
we will visit Yuyuan Garden, a finely designed maze
of elegant pavilions and ponds in the old part of
the city. We will also see the famous Bund, the most
loved waterfront stretching in China, about one mile
along the Huangpu River. In the evening, we will be
transferred to the Suzhou.
4. Suzhou – Hangzhou (B,L,D)
Narrow canals threaded between white walled houses
have earned Suzhou the name “Venice of the East”.
Today we will visit the the scenic Lingering Garden
and the Wang Shi Garden. Suzhou is the centre of textile
industry in China and today you have a chance to visit
Suzhou Silk Embroidery Institute. There you will witness
the born of world-famous Suzhou silk and silk embroidery.
In the afternoon, we will take a coach to Hangzhou.
5. Hangzhou (B,L,D)
Hangzhou, the Capital of Zhejiang Province, was once
praised in an ancient Chinese poem as a “Paradise
on Earth”. Today, we will start our tour with the
majestic Lin Yin Temple, which is known as the Temple
of Inspired Seclusion. Afterwards we will go to see
the mysterious Fei Lai Feng (Peak Flown From Afar),
visiting the Willow Garden of Listening to Orioles.
No tour to Hangzhou could be completed with a relaxing
floating on the romantic West Lake. While enjoying
the picturesque sights along the bank, you can also
experience a cup of traditional Chinese green tea
on the Tea Farm.
6 Hangzhou - Guiyang-Kaili
(B,L,D)
Take the morning flight to Guiyang. Upon arrival,
we will drive along the scenic mountain roads to the
minority nationalities community Kaili, stopping on
the way in Xiaohuamiao at Guiding, which is a village
inhabited by the Flowery Miao, a subgroup of the ethnic
minority group.
7 Kaili-Guiyang (B,L,D)
Continue our amazing tour in Chinese Minority Villages.
Visit Matang, a quiet village inhabited by the Gejia
minority, where we will learn about their culture,
of which very little is known. We will drive back
to Guiyang in the evening.
8. Guiyang - Kunming (B,L,D)
We will drive to Huangguoshu, tour the famous Huangguoshu
Waterfall, which is the largest waterfall in China.
Then we will visit Dragon's Palace scenic area. After
that we will climb up to the Jiaxiu Lou Pavilion to
view the whole scene of the Waterfall. Afterwards,
we will take a flight to Kunming.
9. Kunming (B,L,D)
Kunming is named as “the City of Eternal Spring” because
of its mild weather. We will visit the Stone Forest,
the most remarkable nature phenomena in China. Being
about 86 kilometers away from Kumming city counter,
the Stone Forest consists of 80 hectares of innumerable
bizarre shaped ancient limestone cliff and peaks created
by wind and water erosion some 270 million years ago.
The journey to the forest is as beautiful as the landscapes
that surround it. For dinner you will have Yuannan
specialties – “Over Bridge Rice Noodle” and the “Tian
Qi Steam Pot Chicken”.
10. Kunming - Xian (B,L,D)
We will go for a City Tour around Kunming to experience
for yourself the beauty of this city. You can visit
the Western Hill and the Dianchi Lake, which is the
largest lake in Yunnan Province and the Sixth largest
lake in China. Climb up to the Western Hill and get
the whole sight of the lake in your eyes. We will
also visit the Golden Temple and the Bird and Flower
Market. An afternoon flight will take us to Xian.
Xian is the Capital city of Shaanxi Province, which
has a history of nearly 6000 years. Xian is the starting
point of the famous ancient Silk Road, eleven ancient
dynasties in the Chinese history once claimed Xian
as their Capital.
11. Xian (B,L,D)
Today, our tour begins with a visit to the astonishing
underground ruins, Museum of Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors
and Horses. Concealed under earth, those thousands
of life-sized clay warriors, horses and chariots,
as part of the Tomb of Emperor Qinshihuang, were discovered
accidentally by a farmer while digging out a well
near his home. We will go to the excavation site to
see those lifelike warriors and horses and then visit
the Huaqing Hot Spring, where the Queen of Tang Dynasty
used to take her bath. An interesting tour to the
traditional Medicine Market will make today's tour
more than perfect.
12. Xian - Beijing (B,L,D)
We will take a walk along the ancient City Wall which
was built in the 13th century. A visit to the Wild
Goose Pagoda will also give us a strong sense of history.
In the afternoon, we will say farewell to Xian and
fly to the so called Emperor city, Beijing.
13. Beijing (B,L,D)
We start today's tour from the Tiananmen Square –
the largest square in the world. The present Tiananmen
Square has an area of 440,000 square meters and has
become a relaxing place for the common people to fly
kites and walk. Behind the Tiananmen Gate Tower is
the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City.
The City was built between 1406 and 1420 and served
as the Imperial Palace for 24 Emperors of the Ming
and Qing Dynasties. This complex, being the world
largest Imperial Palace, features more than 800 buildings
with resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered
pillars and vermilion walls. In the afternoon we will
tour the Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing
Emperors worshipped the God of Heaven and preyed for
a good harvest. You can visit the most brilliant buildings
there, the Circular Mound Altar (Yuanqiutan), Imperial
Vault of Heaven (Huangqiongyu) and Hall of Prayer
for Good Harvest (Qiniandian) from south to north.
What's more, you can have a chance to experience the
magnificent atmosphere of the Echo Wall around the
Imperial Vault of Heaven.
14. Beijing (B,L,D)
After breakfast in the hotel, we will take our coach
to the Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the
World. The Wall is about six thousand kilometers in
length from east to west across the country, and the
only manmade structure visible from the Moon.
In the afternoon we will marvel at the incredible
Ming Tombs, where 13 of the 16 Emperors of the Ming
Dynasty were buried.
What's more, a stroll along the Sacred Road with its
stone statues is especially interesting.
We will enjoy the famous Beijing Duck banquet for
dinner, with Chinese traditional folk dancing entertainment.
15. Beijing - USA (B,L)
We will visit the Summer Palace, which was built in
1750 as a royal recreational resort. About 75% of
the Garden was covered with water---the Kunming Lake.
Among its famous features are the 700-meter-long corridors
with its wonderful Painted Gallery, the Marble Barge,
and several magnificently painted pavilions and pagodas.
It is said that the huge amount of money used for
building the Summer Palace was supposed to build a
Chinese Navy, however, the huge Marble Barge by the
vast Lake was the only thing relating to the Navy.
We will transfer to the airport and take our flight
back home.
